My Journey began in August 2014. I have been battling with my weight since I moved to Joburg in 2012. My lifestyle became different. This included my work hours, my eating times and sleep time.
I became depressed and home sick and I was a comfort eater. I stopped being active and just had the same routine over and over again… Work, eat and sleep.
I am a twin. My sister and I shared everything and did everything together. But when I gained weight I struggled to fit into any of our clothes we used to wear. I started wearing baggie clothes to cover up. I was never motivated to lose weight. I would try but couldn’t last eating clean for 24hours. At one stage I weighed more than my boyfriend which was ridiculously embarrassing.
Until one day in August I realised that it was so easy for people, friends and family to tell me apart from my sister, but before they would always get it wrong. I knew my weight was the biggest comparison factor between us. This was when I realised I had to go back looking like my twin and take my life back. I felt terrible standing next to her and always envied her. I came across reboot and started setting myself straight, unfortunately I became stubborn and expected results immediately. I wasn’t sure if I was balancing my diet correctly and I was a lost sheep at the gym, as soon as I broke a sweat I gave up and went home…
Then I came across a post on Sleekgirls of a beautiful lady named Gen Brand and it showed her transformation. I was absolutely blown away! I did everything I could think of to get hold of her and wow…. What a woman. Absolute humble, beautiful and inspiring all in one package. She listened to what I had to say and referred me to an online coach named Craig Brown. I got hold of him immediately and since then I had my diet in order and properly balanced out and I finally knew what I was doing in the gym.
Craig and Gen have changed my life. Craig may have set out my routine but it was up to me as a person to become discipline and determined to get through it all. I started seeing immediate results and it became an addiction. I may not be 100 percent the same as my twin yet…. But my journey has not ended yet. The support one gets from the hundreds of women on Sleekgirls is the biggest motivational booster out there. It kept me going every day. I want to thank everyone for their support. My journey has only taken 2 months… But its amazed me how much a body can change when you set your mind to be 100 percent dedicated and focused. I still have a few more months to go. I can’t wait for my final goal look.

I’ve never been happier and more confident in my own skin till now 
I hope in some way I am able to motivate all the other ladies out there.
